Lost and had to bury my dad(technically my step dad, but he was the only father figure I ever had in my life) at 17, and last month, I had to do the same thing to my mom but doubled down and since I'm an adult now, I had to help my brother and sister plan her funeral. Theres a lot of lyrics in this track that explain my thoughts, but mostly the pre-chorus. I had to help take care of her the last few months of her life and there really was so much left that I had and wanted to say to her. Since I never mentally and emotionally prepared for a situation like by the time I was two months away from being 25 both my parents would've passed on, I genuinely don't know how I'll manage to carry on in life after losing the two most important people in my life that were also the most supportive, loving parents anybody could ask for; but I know both of them would want me to move on and live the rest of my days to the fullest. Thats the only thing still keeping me going
